Brief overview
Psyllium husk powder is a high source of natural dietary fiber, which can benefit the heart during replenishment, improve gastrointestinal health and promote regularity. Psyllium husk powder is called isaphgol and isabgula. It is a soluble fiber that binds with water in the body to form a gel-like substance. Gel absorbs feces and other toxic elements from the body. Because soluble fiber is not easily broken down by the body and passes through the digestive system, the gel facilitates its passage through the gastrointestinal tract and promotes defecation. Psyllium is proven to increase fecal size and moisture, and the most common features of psoriasis supplementation are softness, smoothness and easy passage. Compared with other sources of dietary fiber, psyllium seems to be more effective in forming feces, and seems to be one of the few sources of fibre that have not been associated with excessive gastrointestinal bloating.
Manufacturing Process
Psyllium husk powder is processed from the Psyllium Husk. The Psyllium Husk is ground with various grades of powders of 40 mesh, 60 mesh, 80 mesh and 100 mesh particle sizes. Despite the development of many newer synthetic compounds, Psyllium husk powder remains an important part of the treatment.
