Brief Overview
L-citrulline is part of amino acids. Unlike other amino acids, citrulline doesn’t build proteins. Instead, it plays an important role in the urea cycle and help your body to get rid of harmful substances, particularly ammonia. Furthermore, it also plays an important role In widening the blood vessels (vasodilation) and may play a part in muscle building. Many athletes consume this supplement to improve athletic performance because it helps to increase the amount of oxygen in the muscle tissue. Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process involved several steps. Start by adding a suitable quantity of arginine into a suitable conversion tank to be mixed with bacteria. This reaction yielded a mixture of inoculate arginine and excess bacteria. The next step was to separate the bacteria from the liquid and add activated carbon to the supernatant liquid. the mixture was heated and stirred until the reaction was finished. The last step was to remove the activated carbon and dried the final product which was the L-citrulline.
Food Industry
